Description
An elegant, harmoniously modeled fruit dish in solid silver with a gently undulating rim richly decorated with botanical leaf ornament. The rim (marli) forms a broad decorative band of segmented rose branches with leaves and flowers, interspersed with pendants and cross motifs. The dish sits on a low circular piedouche whose border is finely carved with a garland of cherry leaves and fruit; the inner circle is plain.
