Description
An antique French engraving Première vue de Charenton, after the original plate by Jacques-Philippe Le Bas (1707–1783). The original plate was created in 1747; the Louvre holds the same composition. This example has later hand-coloring and is presented in a gilt relief antique frame. The image and frame are a complete pairing and suit living room, study or foyer display, especially in French or vintage interiors.
