Description
Small-format French book published in Paris in 1836. Bound in original leather with fine gilt borders on the cover and gilt tooling along the spine; nearly two centuries of age have produced natural mottling and a rich patina on the leather.
The volume includes a handwritten presentation page dated 5 August 1839 awarding the Prix de Mémoire. The inscription preserves the school name, recipient's name, class, date, and original signatures of the teacher and school authorities.
